Help me beat my sister’s cancer

My name is Geraldine, I grew up in a big
family of 7 children, having many siblings made us stand up for each other
whenever challenges arise.
We have always cheered for each other’s dream and cried for each other’s trials.  
Growing up we have always dreamed of becoming nurses so we can one day help others, by God’s help,  my 2 sisters and I achieved that goal.  It is in our nature to
help and take care of others, that’s what we love to do. As a nurse we would
advocate for our patients to get the best possible care.
Over a year ago our mom was diagnosed with the heartbreaking news of having
metastatic Stage  4  Breast Cancer. She
opted to do hormonal therapy which
seems to be helping her at this time
combined with alternative palliative
treatment and nutrition to support her
health. Little did we know that while we are still dealing with my mom & dad’s
 illness that we will again be facing              another family trial this year. 

My eldest sister Anna Liza  who is also a
nurse and was actively working in a
hospital in Canada for several years even
before the start Covid 19 Pandemic was
recently  diagnosed with cancer.

She recently started experiencing
fatigued, sore and achy shoulders and hip pain which she initially thought was  just feeling tired after working several days a week in the hospital.  In her mind the
patients comes first and she continued to work until it gets to the point where it
was getting difficult to walk. It then led
her to go to the emergency dept where
she realized how it is to be on the other
end of the spectrum;  as the patient.
She was given the life changing diagnosis of Stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bones and lymph nodes. This left
her disabled due to the pain and not
being able to work anymore, and runs
the risk of losing all that she
have worked for. Her health insurance
can only offer limited treatment 
without giving her options for a possible 
clinical trials that could potentially help
save her life because it is not yet
available in Canada. 
I am advocating for my sister to take her
last chance of hope to get the best
treatment that she deserves and bring
her to America  where she can have the
choice of providers and Cancer Centers
that offers the  latest on clinical trial and
immunotherapy treatment.
As a nurse she have touched so many
lives, and now I want to help her fight her biggest battle.
That’s why I created this page for her.
The healthcare cost  can be very
overwhelming, but with all your help I
know that it would give her the help that she desperately needs. 

Since she does not have insurance in the US we were told that the total amount
that she would need for the treatment 
is between 80-120 K. 
Any amount donated will all go towards her doctors fee, hospital treatment cost, lab fees,Travel cost , and lodging for her
and her husband who will  be taking off
work to be with her at this time.
