With each passing day, the burden of providing for my family grew heavier, a weight too heavy to bear.

<div>Beside me, Najla, a dedicated healer at al Shifaa Hospital, faced her own trials. Blocked by Israeli tanks encircling the hospital, her noble efforts to save lives were thwarted, leaving her with a sense of helplessness in the face of overwhelming adversity.

<div>And then there's my daughter, apple of my eye, Joudi. At just two years old, she bore the scars of war in her tender heart. She cried out in fear and anguish, her innocent soul unable to comprehend the horrors that surrounded her. Anxiety and trauma gripped her tiny frame, a haunting echo of the atrocities witnessed and endured.
