My name is August. I am non-binary and have been living with gender dysphoria for over 11 years. This has made it difficult for me to feel comfortable in my own body, and it has affected my mental health in many ways, including anxiety and suicidal ideations. My insurance does not cover the gender affirming care I need, specifically top surgery, which is why I am reaching out for help.
