My name is Tiarra Banda, and I'm a high school student in Texas. I recently founded the Travel Club on November 15th to help students explore the world through local excursions and travel abroad programs.

Many of us dream of studying abroad, but financial barriers make it challenging to turn that dream into reality. This GoFundMe aims to support our club's efforts to raise funds for these opportunities. Your generosity would help cover costs like application fees, travel expenses, and more, allowing us to gain valuable global experiences.

Cost Breakdown:

60% of the funds are going towards program costs. Because we are traveling with CIEE, accommodations, excursions, and transportation are covered by them, but, that makes for quite a hefty tuition.

30% are going towards air fares, In this day and age, international plane tickets are very expensive, ranging from $900-$4000 dollars.

the remaining 40% will go towards participants, for things such as clothing, luggage, food expenses, emergency hotel booking (in the case of a delayed flight)
