<div>Two years ago, my daughter Kayla’s life was forever changed in a devastating car crash. She suffered a traumatic brain injury and was left paralyzed on her left side including her organs. Since then, she has fought with unimaginable strength to regain as much independence as possible, enduring countless doctor visits, therapies, and hospital stays.

<div>Recently, Kayla faced serious complications that landed her back in the hospital. What we thought might be a short stay has now turned into the expectation of up to three months in the hospital. While the medical team works tirelessly to get her stronger, I need to be by her side 24/7.

<div>Because of her brain injury, Kayla is extremely impulsive and cannot be left alone in her hospital room. I’ve had to step away from work so I can care for her, and the financial strain is overwhelming.
