Help Mazen and his family escape from Gazas war
Donazione protetta
My name is Mazen Musallam, and I am a resident of Gaza City. My family and I enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful life before the onset of the genocide.
But unfortunately, our tranquility was shattered, plunging us into a living nightmare. The descent into this hell began when our home in Gaza City was bombed and completely destroyed on October 11th. Subsequently, on October 13th, we were forced to embark on a journey from Gaza City to various locations in the central region due to the size of our family.
Tragically, on October 22nd, my wife, my son, and six of my nephews and nieces lost their lives when the house they sought refuge in was bombed in the town of Al-Zawaida. The following week, on October 30th, four of my sister's children met a similar fate after the bombing of the house where they had sought shelter in Nuseirat camp. Then, on December 18th, my mother, grandmother, my brother’s wife, and three of my nephews were also killed when the house they were displaced in was bombed in Deir al-Balah camp.
After enduring 204 days of relentless suffering and with little hope for the end of this genocide, only my brother, sister, and I remain. However, my priority now is the urgent medical treatment needed for my brother, who is suffering from kidney failure.
With most hospitals in the Gaza Strip destroyed, we have no choice but to seek treatment in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
To make this journey possible, we require approximately $15,000 to cover travel expenses and coordination fees for the three of us. I have waited patiently for this nightmare to end, but I cannot bear to witness my brother's deteriorating health without taking action.
With nothing left for me in this world except my sick brother and my younger sister, I earnestly appeal to your compassion and generosity. Your assistance will help ensure the success of our journey to Egypt and provide vital medical care for my brother.
