Hello, I am Maysaa Ershi from the Gaza Strip. I created this page to ask for help to survive during these hardships in Gaza. Every day we are in danger of losing our lives, a lot of trouble, time, energy and money is needed to get hold of basic needs, such as food and necessities for my children.

After more than two years of bloody war on Gaza, losing my job and source of income, and the destruction of my home, I need to try and rebuild my life.

When the war came, I was four months pregnant with my daughter. Unfortunately, the time of birth came and the war was not over yet. Labor pain came at night, and we were surrounded and unable to leave. I waited until the morning, begging for help. I did not have enough time. Unfortunately, I gave birth to my baby girl at the hospital door.

My eldest son, Yassin, is eight years old. He was deprived of his most basic rights to education and play. He no longer goes to school now, and all his toys were destroyed due to the destruction of our house. He was deprived of a lot of food because of the siege. Many days passed and he slept hungry. As for my second child, Omar, who is six years old, he was prevented from going to kindergarten and is always crying because we lost our home. He does not understand the idea of displacement and that we have become homeless.

I lost a lot of my family. I can't stand it. I'm afraid something bad will happen to my children. Please help start my life again with my children and husband in a safe situation. Thank you very much.
