Maya Williams is an accomplished writer and a valued member of the Portland creative community. As a mentor and facilitator, Maya dedicates countless hours to supporting fellow creatives, leading writing groups every Sunday and ensuring that members from near and far can join in through Zoom. Their generosity and commitment have made a lasting impact on so many people, and their encouragement has helped writers find their voices and build lasting connections.

 Despite all they do for others, Maya has been quietly struggling with a faulty laptop battery, which means they have to keep their computer plugged in at all times. This makes it challenging for them to continue their work, especially when facilitating virtual writing groups or working on their own creative projects. Maya has never complained, always putting the needs of others first, but now it’s our turn to support them.

 A new laptop will allow Maya to keep connecting with writers, crafting their own work, and saving their writing without technical barriers.
