Help Max Overcome Medical and Financial Struggles
Together for Max: A community call for help
I've been helping people in need for many years, anywhere I could help physically or financially. Now I need your help to help Max, a 76-year-old man.
Max was a hardworking man all his life and tried to help as many people as he could. He has a soft heart for children and the needy.
He was taken to the emergency room many times within 3 weeks in August 2024 due to falls that they couldn't figure out. Finally, he ended up in Encino Hospital where he acquired an infection of MARS, which was contagious. He was discharged after 5 days even though he was not quite well.
When he was sent home to his one room that he had rented, he fainted and fell. An ambulance took him to MLK Hospital. There they learned of his infection and further realized that he needed surgery ASAP in L4 & L5 of his back.
Since they couldn't treat him there due to lack of necessary equipment and surgeons, he got transferred to Glendale Adventist Hospital. A few days after the surgery, they sent him back to MLK Hospital.
His surgery got complicated due to many transfers and infections in that area.
He is in lots of pain and under heavy painkillers.
Now, almost a month later, he is in Temple Rehab in Downtown LA, where he needs to stay for therapy and treatment of multiple infections. Due to these circumstances and medications, he is in pain and depressed.
He could only walk 6 steps with the help of two nurses holding him after so long.
His bills are piling up, and he lost his apartment. His car was stolen when he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. All these added to his physical and emotional condition now.
He is in desperate need of your support and donations.
