"Hello, my name is Matthias, I am 9 years old and I’m always in pain.
I’ve been fighting for my life since I was 3 years old and I’ve already had so many operations on my head that were really painful. I hope that one day I won’t be in pain or visit the hospital anymore.
Please read my story and you will understand why I beg you to help me so I can get my vaccination.
I want to be happy and healthy again."
Our son is fighting with the brain tumour called gliomatosis cerebri/ glioblastoma multiform since 2010 and the doctors from Great Ormond Street Hospital were giving him only a few months to live.
He went through 2 aggressive chemotherapies but they didn't work.
On 2012 doctors gave us maximum 12 months to spend with our beloved son but despite bad prognosis, he is still with us.
Matthias has a lot of impressive strength and keeps fighting!!!
Unfortunately, cancer continues to grow, and his life is still in danger.
We will not give up in the fight for Matthias's life!!!
It's been 7 years from the first operation ad from firtst diagnosis and Matthias is still fighting!
So far our son has had many brain surgeries after which the tumour unfortunatly renews and expands!
We see no point in further operations, so we are looking for other options to help him. That is why we are trying to raise money for pioneering treatment of immunotherapy in Germany.
Immunotherapy is the new but promising non-surgical method to fight the brain tumour.
These treatments are known in the UK but not available for Matthias because they are still in a trial phase.
The immunotherapy will be a compilation of treatments such:
- antisense GcMaf Therapy,
- dendritic Cell Vaccines,
- oncolytic viruses,
- hyperthermia.
Total cost is aproxemetly £50 000!!!

Nasz syn walczy ze złośliwym guzem mózgu zwanym GLEJAKOWATOŚĆ MÓZGU/GLEJAK WIELOPOSTACIOWY od 2010 roku i lekarze z londynskiego szpitala Great Omond Street dali mu wtedy tylko kilka miesięcy życia.
Maciek przez 2 kolejne lata przeszedł 2 agresywne chemioterapie, które niestety nie pomogły.
W 2012 roku po kolejnej operacji lekarze dali nam 12 miesięcy aby spędzic z naszym ukochanym synem. Ale Maciek na przekór złym prognozom lekarzy jest nadal z nami, pokazuje jak jest silny i jak bardzo chce życ!!!
Niestety guz ciagle rośnie i jego życie jest w ciagłym niebezpieczeństwie!!!
Nigdy nie poddamy się w walce o życie Maćka!
Mineło 6 lat od pierwszej operacji a on nadal walczy i tak bardzo chce żyć!!
Do tej pory nasz syn przeszedł 7 operacji, po których guz sie odnowił i powiększył. Nie ma sensu aby Maciek przechodził kolejne operacje, które nie moga usunąć guza na zawsze a przynoszą mu tylko ból i cierpienie.
Dlatego szukamy innych możliwości aby uratować naszego synka!
Znaleźliśmy terapie w Niemczech tzw. imunoterapie.
Jest to nieinwazyjna forma leczenia znana u nas ale niestety niedostępna przez służbę zdrowia ponieważ jest ciągle w fazie testów. Leczenie składać się będzie z :
-terapii antisense
-szczepionki z komórek dendrycznych
-virusów oncolitycznych
- hipertermia
całkowity koszt terapii to £50 000 ( 59 000 euro)

Unser Sohn kämpft schon seit 2010 mit einem Hirntumor , sogenanntem "GLIOBLASTOM MULTIFORM" der sehr aggressiv ist. Die Ärzte von einem englischen Krankenhaus " Great Ormond Steet", haben ihn nur paar Monaten zum leben gegeben. In 2 Jahren hat Matti 2 sehr aggressive Chemotherapien bekommen, die aber nichts gebracht haben.
Nach einer Operation 2012, sagten die Ärzte dass wir nicht mehr als 12 Monate mit unserem Kind haben... Wir haben jetzt Jahr 2016 und Matti lebt! Das zeigt uns wie stark er ist und was für eine Lebenswille er hat!!!
Der Hirntumor wächst leider weiter und das Leben unseres Kindes ist in ständiger Gefahr!!!
Wir werden niemals aufgeben! Matti muss leben! Seit dem ersten OP sind schon 6 Jahre vergangen und Matthias kämpft immer noch!
Bis jetzt sind das schon 7 Operationen und trotzdem der Tumor kamm wieder oder ist größer geworden! Die Angriffe sind sehr schmerzhaft und wie das Leben uns gezeigt hat, haben bei unserem Sohn , kein Sinn mehr, da der Tumor bleibt. Wir wollen nicht dass unser Matti leidet und sind auf der Suche nach anderen Möglichkeiten die sein Leben retten könnten.
In Deutschland sind wir auf eine spezielle Therapie aufmerksam geworden. Die Therapie heißt "Immunotherpie" und ist eine neue, nichtinvasive Behandlung, die zwar bei uns schon bekannt ist aber die Krankenkasse übernimmt die Kosten nicht weil dieser Therapie sich noch in der Testphase befindet.
"Immunotherpie im Gegensatz zu den bisherigen Krebstherapien greifen sie die Krebszellen nicht direkt an, sondern stärken das Körpereigene Immunsystem im Kampf gegen den Krebs"
Die ganze Therapie kostet 59000€.
