Hello, my name is Matthew Barbosa. I am a senior film student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. This year I am making my senior thesis film, which I have titled, "Final Notice." I wish to create this film as a representation of everything I have learned in my four years in college, and as a tool to help me start my career in the film industry.

"Final Notice" is a dramatic short featuring two college students who have been friends since high school. Tension grows between these friends as the threat of getting evicted from their apartment forces them to come to terms with the worst parts of their friendship and themselves.

Synopsis:

Otis and Andrew have been friends since high school and are currently sharing an apartment as they go into their senior year of college. The pair are faced with the possibility of getting evicted from their apartment after months of Otis not paying his share of the rent. As the pair scramble to get the money they need, tensions grow between them. Otis must learn to take accountability and accept the help he needs, while Andrew must decide whether or not he can continue his friendship with Otis.
