Help Matt survive til 1st paycheck!

Lately, it seems life hasn't even been giving Matt any lemons, and yet he's been able to squeeze out some delicious lemonade in the form of a new job starting on the 29th! Despite this amazing opportunity, times have been extremely hard on him financially and Matt could really use some help surviving until his first paycheck on the 15th.

If you have anything to spare, your donation will help Matt pay for food, rent, and gas. The new job is located in Carlsbad, and Matt will be unable to relocate immediately from El Cajon. In the interim, some extra help with gas money will directly help Matt get to work and get back on his own two feet.

Your help and support would be immensely appreciated, and will be benefiting someone that's fought hard to stay alive with tons of cards stacked against him. I feel compelled to add that Matt has been my best and closest friend for over a decade. He has always been a giver in my eyes. Whenever his cup was full, he'd always want to treat friends to food, gifts, and adventures. He's fiercely protective of his friends and always available to chat with you and turn your frown upside down. Despite all this, Matt has been learning to live with chronic depression since his youth, and eventually was let go from his last job due to his illness. A particularly bad bout of depression is enough to keep someone bed-bound and incapable of even the simplest tasks. Matt has since struggled to overcome the depths of his mental disorders and has been seeking out treatment to hopefully land back on his feet. He's overcome a lot over the past few years and deserves this fresh start.
