<div>On the 28th March 2025 our world fell apart. My kind, hard working, loyal, caring, amazing husband, Matt, received the devastating news that his melenoma had metastasized and significantly spread around his body, progressing his diagnosis to stage 4 malignant melenoma .

<div>Matt is our world, he has been my partner in life for the last 18 years, and husband for the last 13. He is a fantastic Father and step father to our amazing 4 children, Mikey, Luke, Oliver and Emmie and grandad to our beautiful granddaughter, Amora. Matt is the kindest, most gentle man, who would do anything for anyone. He is an amazing dad, husband, son and brother and is loved dearly by us all. Watching him suffer this awful disease is beyond heartbreaking, especially for our young children, myself and our close families.

<div>On 4th April Matt had his first round of immunotherapy, unfortunately the melenoma is too aggresive and we now have little time to wait for it to work. On 24th April Matt was started on targeted therapy drugs in the hope to stop the melenoma in its tracks and bring everything back under control. Early signs are positve that the new therapy is doing what we need it to. We want to do everything we possibly can to support Matt on this incredibly difficult journey. On Saturday May 10th our boys have grouped together a team of 13 who are challenging themselves to climb the 3 peaks in 24 hours! This is going to be a mammoth task but one they want to do to show support to their dad, help raise awareness for Melenoma, as May is Melenoma awareness month, and to help us raise money in order to support Matt to access alternative therapies along side his medical ones. Firstly by including a functional medicine practitioner who specialises in integrative oncology. To support Matt along side the targeted therapy. Medical therapies can be brutal to endure, with the support of the functional medicine practitioner we will beable to make sure that he has everything, nutrionally, mentally and emotionally that his body needs, to be as strong as he possibly can be to fight this. We have found an amazing practitioner who we believe will be able to help Matt so much, through a company called Embracing Nutrition. This lady is an expert when it comes to oncology and we know she can help. These appointments are however so costly and this is where we ask for your help, to help us to continue this journey with Jo (Gamble) to give Matt the best possible chance we can. We would also like to look at any other additional therapies we can that will help and support Matt to heal. Oxygen therapy, high dose Vit C, sauna and oxygenated water. I genuinely believe that all of these additional therapies will make a huge difference to Matt and will help him to win back the fight against this awful disease. Any help that you can give, I, and our families will forever be so very grateful. Please help us keep our husband, dad, son and brother here for as long as we possibly can.
