Help Matt Beat His Chronic Pain!!!
As the parents of our son Matt. We are continuing to need help for Matt to help him overcome, and treat his chronic pain, and health conditions. Matt has several health challenges he is experiencing right now. He has been challenged with severe neck and back pain for several years, and for the past few years, he has been challenged with severe chronic inflammation. Matt has always been someone who has enjoyed, and loved life. He has always been very active in doing things like sports, fishing, hunting, camping, and pretty much anything in the outdoors. He has worked in the counstruction industry for over 20 years, where he learned many trades, and aspects of constructing, and remodeling homes and buildings. His speciality is finish work, and woodworking. He loves to build things like furniture, and other projects out of wood, and loves working on the finishing touches, and details of a home. Matt has always been a good leader. He enjoyed surpervising many projects, and working with other contractors, sub contractors, designers, architects, engineers, and home owners in building, and finishing projects. He loves being around other people, spending time with his family, and hanging out and playing with his nieces and nephews. Matt has always been someone of great faith. He is very involved with his faith and the LDS church he belongs to. He especially loves serving, and spending time with the youth. He has been very invovled with groups like the Boys Scouts of America, and other youth programs of the LDS church. He has a great love and belief for the youth of this world, and believes very strongly in their great potential. A number of years ago, Matt was on his way home from work when a car pulled out in front of him making a left turn. He didn't have time to stop, and rammed into the side of the car. This ended up being a severe accident in which both his, and the other driver's car were both totaled. A few years later, he began having severe back and neck pain. He started going to a specalist soon after, and they found he had severe deformation in his spine that was caused from the accident, and other things like sports, work, and other physical activities. He has over the past several years recieved a number of different kinds of treatments to treat these conditions, including chiropractic care, massage therapy, injections, lazer treatment, physical therapy, rehabilitation, nutrition, perscription drugs, over-the-counter medication, and other types of treatment to help him manage, and treat his conditions. Much of this has helped him tremendously, especially for the first few years. Then about 3 years ago the pain became so severe, and he began experiencing inflammation at a extreme level like he had not ever experienced before. It wasn't long until he had to quit his job, because he could no longer give the company he was working for what they needed, and be able to keep up with the demands of the job. He then started his own company doing a little work here and there when he could, just to pay the bills, and get by. He did that for a year, until his inflammation level reached an all time high. It had reached such a high level that he would take up to 16 ibuprofrin at a time, and even that wouldn't do anything to dull the pain or inflammation. The inflammation level, and pain was so intense, he could no longer do any work at all. He has now been in a state where he has not been able to work for almost 2 1/2 years. He has experienced several different types of symptoms like, fibromyalgia, ebstein bar virrus, chronic fatigue syndrome, brain fog, leaky gut, and other autoimmune type symptoms. In the last year Matt has gone through a number of treatments, and testing to determine the cause, and to treat his conditions and  symptoms. Some of these include blood work, saliva tests, urine tests, numerous amounts of different supplements and cleanses, UBI treatment, diet and nutrition changes, continued chiropratic care, lazer treatment, and decompression. All of this only seemed to help a little bit. When it seemed none of these things were the full answer, and he had reached a plateau where he wasn't progressing any furthur. It was then recommended to him by his doctor that he should look into TMJ, and see about getting that treated. They did some testing and found he did indeed have severe TMJ. TMJ is a disorder in the jaw. He was given a recommendation for a specialist who could treat TMJ. In Matt's research of this specialist, and TMJ, he not only discovered the severe effects that TMJ has on the overall health of the body, but he also found something else that alarmed him greatly. He discovered that silver amalgam fillings you sometimes recieve from a dentist when you have dental work done, contain 50% mercury. He has also discovered the effects mercury has on the body, and has learned that mercury, and many other toxins he has been exposed to over the years have been the primary cause for all of his inflammation, and many of the conditions that he has gone through. He has since now had all of his silver amalgam fillings removed from the 8 teeth which contained them, from this specialist, and he has also had 2 teeth removed which contained a great amount of infection in them from past root canals he had done several years ago. He is also receiving treatment for his TMJ, which seems to be improving. In Matt's research of how to get rid of mercury poisoning. He has come across a doctor who has gone through much of the same things he has experienced, and has learned for himself how to overcome it and get healed. This has been a tremendous discovery for Matt, and he has been so excited and energized by this new discovery. It has been such a relief for him, and us to have finally found the source of answers he has been searching for, for so long. Matt is currently now being treated, and coached by a doctor in Salt Lake, who has been trained by this doctor he discovered, and he is very knowledgeable himself on the proper detoxification, and procedures on how to rid the body from mercury, heavy metals and all toxins in the body and cells where the inflammation starts. We are so grateful for all of the donations, and help we have received for Matt. It can not be said enough, what a blessing it has been that so many have been so willing to give and help. As you can imagine, treatments are a bit expensive, and with Matt not being able to work, and with no insurrance which will help cover any cost of these treatments, we are in need of more help. As Matt's parents we have done all that we can do to help him in this cause, and are giving all the support we are able to give. We are extremely grateful for all the doctors, and their staffs, who have done so much to help Matt get to where he is at right now, and to find the cause of his conditions. We thank everyone who has donated, and helped in anyway! We together have raised a significant amount of money which has allowed Matt to progress, and receive the care he has received the last several months. Matt still has a bit of a hill to climb to be able to get his health, and life back. He is very confident that he will get there. Matt believes very strongly there is a great purpose, and reason for this journey, and trial he has gone through for so long. He is hoping he can use this experience to help make a difference, and change peoples lives. There are others who are experiencing simular health challenges, and Matt wants to take the knowledge, and experience he has gained to help coach people in ways they can have better health, better quality of life, and overcome their own challenges. In order to reach his goal, and this hope, he still needs continued, and additional treatment to change the position of his jaw, and neck, to allow them to fully heal, and to remove the toxins, and inflammation from his body. We started out with a goal of $10,000, knowing it would take around that much for Matt to receive the treatments he needs. We know we have raised a significant amount already, but we know we have a little ways to go still.
