In 2016 the unimaginable happened to a hardworking young couple, Matt and Karen, and their two young children, Josh and Gemma. During a violent storm on the NSW Central Coast, a huge gum tree fell and demolished almost all of their tiny but humble home. With the storm still raging the house filled with water and they lost most possessions and many treasures.
Matt and Karen were just so thankful that they all managed to get out of the house before the tree fell, they were only seconds from being crushed themselves so they counted their blessing and with great positivity rebuilt their home over the next twelve months. During this time they had various accommodation whilst working full time and rebuilding the house. Finally, just after 12 months of renovations they moved back into the family home. What a wonderful day it was for them all, the children back in their own rooms with things around them to call their own. Such joy after much devastation.
Joy has turned to devastation again though as today, tragically, their house burnt to the ground. Matt, Karen, Gemma and Josh have now lost everything. There is nothing to salvage at all. Once again, they are struck by tragedy, once again they are looking on the bright side and are so thankful everyone is ok. They intend to stay positive and start again. This lovely couple would never ask for help so this Go Fund Me page has been set up for them. Please dig deep and give to these amazing people who need your help to rebuild their lives again.
