Hello, My son Mason was nominated by his teacher to attend the National Leadership Forum: pathways to STEM. He will be gaining insights and perspective that will prove to be beneficial throughout school and far beyond. He will join other students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands-on workshops focused on five skills that are essential to success: emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting. He will also have the opportunity to explore a future career in three pathways : medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation.
I am currently unemployed I have a full-time position lined up to start in the second week of May.
This is a great opportunity for Mason and his future, and I am hoping to be able to send him. The tuition for the 6 day, 5 night program is $3,245. I cannot afford to pay this at this time due to financial setbacks. My seasonal part time job as a school photographer has ended and I am waiting to start a full time position at the Children's Home of Easton which is an orphanage. My partner was greatly affected by the writers strike in the entertainment industry, he is a set dresser. He has just returned back to work and we have a great amount of bills to catch up on.
Please help us give Mason the chance and opportunity to partake in such an amazing program! Anything helps, I really hate to pass up this opportunity due to my own personal finance setbacks
