<div>My sister Maryam, a 38-year-old mother of three that lives in Karachi, Pakistan. She is in a race against time to save what’s left of her vision. She has Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) — a rare, inherited eye disease that causes progressive vision loss, leading to tunnel vision and eventually total blindness.

<div>Today, Maryam has lost 70% of her sight. She sees the world in fragments — blurry, dim, and distorted. And in low light or darkness, she is already completely blind. Her condition is deteriorating fast, and doctors have warned that she could lose her remaining vision entirely without immediate treatment.

<div>Despite this, Maryam remains a symbol of strength and grace. She’s a loving mother to three beautiful children, a daughter that is 16, and two sons that are 12 and 9, and an artist who pours her soul onto the canvas, creating pieces that reflect how she sees the world slipping away.

<div>Maryam will begin with a 10-day regenerative therapy program, including imaging and a 3-month supply of medication.
