Help Mary Jane the Great Dane Get Surgery

Story

Meet Mary Jane the Great Dane. Mary Jane was born on 4/20/25. We adopted her from a family friend, and she is perfect. However, she was unfortunately born with a birth defect that causes her not to keep food down. She vomits several times a day. We are not sure what she has exactly yet, as we are going through the process of tests and radiographs. We are currently waiting on her GI panel to come back, but what we do know is that Mary Jane is going to require surgery. Unfortunately, no matter which surgery she has to have, the lowest cost of this would be $4,000.00 and as much as $6,500, plus there will be follow-ups and medications. We did just receive a Bailey Box to help; however, it will not resolve her issues. Once testing comes back, I will update this page. My family and I are already so smitten with her as she is so sweet and affectionate. She loves to play, but because of her illness, she doesn’t have “normal” puppy energy. She sleeps a lot. She is very underweight for her breed, only weighing 11.4 lbs (a Great Dane her age should be closer to 30 lbs). We are asking for help to get her the rest of the tests and surgery she will eventually require as we unfortunately cannot afford all of this at this time.
