<div>On June 14th, 2024, our good friend and employee Marty Otto had what the medical field refers to as a “Widow Maker Heart Attack” while camping with his family in the mountains of Idaho. He had to be airlifted out by Flight for Life, but if it hadn’t been for his wife and children’s knowledge of CPR, Marty probably wouldn’t be with us today. Once stable in Idaho, he was able to fly home where he unfortunately had another Code Blue “V-Storm” event that led to him being shocked 17 times, which inevitably gave him numerous burn wounds from the defibrillator. Again, Laurie, Ava and Riley were able to keep him alive because of their knowledge of CPR until the paramedics could get there and get him to the hospital. He has since had a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted and is also fighting bloodclots in his arm.

<div>We at Packerland Electric want to help Marty and his family with the overwhelming medical bills that are already starting to pile up. The Flight for Life alone is over $48,000.00! Any amount you can contribute will be a huge help for them because right now, we’re not sure when or if he can come back to work as an electrician.
