Help Martha save a cat colony

This GoFund Me is for my sister, Martha. A kind-hearted cat lover who has spent the last ten years caring for a homeless colony of cats in Laredo, Texas. She's provided food and shelter for 25+ stray community cats and now needs our help. The population of this cat colony has continued to increase and trying to care for all of the cats has been overwhelming and costly.

Martha is working with Best Freinds for Life, a TNR Program, who has agreed to help with this cat colony. In exchange, they asked that she please seek financial assistance to help pay for the cats; TNR, which will cost around $1500 for the 25+ cats. Please join us in supporting Martha to help this cat colony.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a none-lethal, three-step method to reduce the number of feral and stray cats both immediately and in the long term.

TNR helps the community by stabilizing the population of the feral colony and, over time, reducing it. The practice of TNR enables feral and outdoor cats to live their lives without adding to the overpopulation of homeless cats.
