exact prices for everything this will help with:

surgecal cost - 6,000 $

hospital fee - 2,970 $

anesthesia fee - 1,375 $

post deposit before surgery date - 500 $

so in total the total cost is around 10,845 $ which is a quote which means I only have 12 months / 1 year with this cost !!

hihi I'm Marlow (he/they) I'm 19 years old! I recently had a consult for top surgery (everything went extremely well!! no issues there) we were just waiting for a callback from my insurance, in under a month my doctor got back to me! they told me that my insurance had denied my coverage, their reasoning being cause I'm not 21! personally I found that weird because being required to be 21 for a surgery just seems alarming! and many people who've had this procedure done have had a wide variety in age!

this isn't the first time that my insurance has declined a surgical procedure! they had also denied my wisdom teeth removal! 2 times!!

my hospital gave me two options: I could either look for other insurances and get back to them and/or they could put my procedure as a cosmetic procedure to give it a slightly cheaper estimate than it would have been originally!!

I'd really appreciate it if anyone can donate , what so ever amount u can is fine!! and if u can't I'd also rly appreciate it if you could share!! always feel bad asking for money let alone not being able to get hired but this procedure has been on my mind for so long now!! It would make me feel very comfortable and joyful if top surgery could happen :')
