I have been exceptionally lucky to be accepted on the prestigious 'NOMAZZ' jazz course where I will spend two years travelling and studying in three incredible institutions across Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

This crowd funder is to support me in my housing/accommodation costs while I am out there.

My Plan is to take nothing but my Saxophone and a suitcase for the next 2 years. Returning to study is a daunting prospect, but I am hugely looking forward to it and even more so coming back and sharing what I have learned. Sadly, after the Brexit situation the tuition fees have gone from zero to astonishing which was a shock as I had dreamed of and begun planning this part of my life before the change.

The past year or so has been especially hard for musicians and I had hoped to save enough money to support myself while I am out there, but after the new fees and a year of only playing gigs to my cat in the shed, sadly this has not been the case and so I am turning TO YOU (!) for support.

I am hugely appreciative of the support that so many people have given me and many other musicians over the past year to make ends meet as we fought through this troubling time. Now I ask for your support one more time and in return I will grow, produce more music and art (and of course not be homeless in a foreign country!)

I am looking at rent prices approximately similar to London, the average across the 3 countries is around £500pcm so the goal is to raise 9 months of rent costs.

No donation is too small (or too big) and honestly, any help whatsoever will be so hugely appreciated I couldn't possibly put it into words!
