Hello, my name is Mathew , and I'm reaching out to the community on behalf of my dad, Mark. In December 2024, Mark began experiencing serious issues with passing food, which led to an initial hospital visit. While doctors prescribed medication, the problem persisted, and eventually, he needed emergency surgery. Sadly, despite the surgery, his condition worsened, and he began losing weight at an alarming rate-going from 210lbs to just 127lbs in a span of only four months.

Recently, Mark had a feeding tube and another tube to drain bile installed, but his health continued to deteriorate. He was hospitalized again in critical condition, and doctors are still working tirelessly to find a definitive diagnosis. The uncertainty of his condition has been extrely stressful for our family, as we desperately want answers and, most of all healing for Mark. As you can imagine, these constant hospital visits, surgeries, and medical treatments have taken a severe toll on my dad's finances. He is a retired forest firefighter, and after dedicating years of service, he now lives off a pension that is not enough to cover these escalating medical costs.

My family and I are doing everything we can to support him, but we need your help.
