I got accredited so that he would have official transcripts for his home school education. <div>Born Sherry Mitchell, I grew up below the poverty line, barely knowing my father and unaware of our family history until age 35. I have always had a dream to do big things but between the abuse I sustained, and the medical negligence, is holding me back with financial barriers I am trying so hard to overcome.  Most of my treatments are not covered by insurance but they work!

<div>At 2, I was misdiagnosed with ADHD, drugged for 15 years to mask my mother’s abuse, which damaged my teeth and system. By 5, I learned to look out for myself, growing up fast. At 13, I escaped by reporting my caregivers, spending 4½ years in foster care to secure a better future.  I always knew that I had great potential with an IQ near 150.   In high school, I excelled as an honor student, sang in the honors choir, played tennis, took advanced honors core classes for all my electives, and worked 2-3 part-time jobs on the side, earning a transcript worthy of Ivy League schools. After 9/11 though, I joined the Marine Corps at 18, driven by duty to serve. I wanted to make my family proud and serve this country! I knew once I graduated boot camp and became I Marine that I could do anything I set my mind to but my potential got cut short during active-duty service.

<div>In the military, extensive dental work—drilling and filling every 2-3 weeks for nearly 2 years with mercury amalgam fillings containing nickel, to which I’m highly allergic—pushed my body to its toxicity limit. At 20, I went from leg-pressing 600 pounds to struggling with stairs, chronic pain, joint issues, severe digestive problems, and panic attacks misdiagnosed as anxiety. A failed root canal before my 2006 discharge worsened my condition as a piece of mercury broke off the tooth and I swallowed it. The VA misdiagnosed my severe PTSD as a personality disorder, denied claims for mercury toxicity since 2013, and “lost” my dental records. I later learned these symptoms, including Gulf War Syndrome-like chemical and food sensitivities, stemmed from the neurotoxic exposure of elemental mercury vapor and nickel allergies, confirmed when amalgam removal drastically reduced symptoms. Upon discharge, Even though I loved the dentist and looked forward to visits, I would have panic attacks as soon as they put the drill to my teeth and no dentist would see me at that point unless I was sedated.  Once they were removed, these symptoms went away and I experience no pain with the couple ceramic restorations I have now.  The problem is though my teeth don't even touch in the back and they need to be remade now.  The pain was unbearable that I experienced from the amalgam and it was such a relief to finally have it out of my mouth! Now I am dealing with a new kind of pain.  It has been a 20 year endless battle it seems.  A battle that I would not have had to fight if I had the money to get the proper treatments to begin with.

<div>At 22, doctors declared me sterile, but I rejected that, addressing the root cause—mercury amalgams. Six months after removing two fillings, I felt better, and after full removal, within 6 months, at 30, I welcomed my healthy son, proving doctors wrong.  If someone tells me something is impossible and it is important, I make it my mission to show them it is possible!

<div>In 2012, I changed my name to honor my extended family, who raised me. At 35, I discovered my paternal family’s legacy, including Billy Mitchell, honored with a city, military aircraft and an airport named after him. My great grandparents fought Nazis in WWII, were held in concentration camps for that service, served in Congress, and wrote bestselling books.  Had they not survived, I wouldn't even be here today!  Learning this has only further fueled my big dreams and confidence to change the way the world sees medicine.

<div>For 20 years, I’ve battled issues, including chronic pain, severe muscle tension, joint issues, chemical and food sensitivities requiring a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, corn-free, organic diet for years, and now breathing issues and dizziness from jaw misalignment and muscular imbalances. These stem from improper dental work, causing nerve and venous compression in my neck and I need highly specialized care, considering the specialists refer me to even higher up specialists.

<div>I self-treat 5-7 hours daily with massage, acupuncture, arnica, and a micro-current machine (2100 hours logged). A recent $6,000 Trudenta treatment, costing part of a $19,000 malpractice settlement from my late father’s case, worsened my condition due to other injuries which I am also addressing to heal and left me dependent now on muscle relaxers so I can function. ER visits, including one this week in Georgia, highlight the urgency, as muscle tension affects my speech, breathing, heartbeat, and driving ability.  I would try to make more money part-time and do what I can but my only option right now is AmazonFlex and there is no way I could even come up with this much money in the next few months, nor can I drive without worsening this condition now.

<div>The VA has failed me repeatedly. In Minnesota, they denied care twice; in Texas, a VA dentist claimed she never received my hand-delivered records after six months, referring me to a non-neuromuscular-trained dentist. Despite 100% VA coverage and a service-connected dental disability, they’ve denied payment for neurologically trained specialists under the Mission Act even with senator Amy Klobuchars help in MN, they would not honor the mission Act and the congressional liaison told me that I should sue the VA and run for congress.

<div>I’ve spent $25,000-$30,000 on amalgam removal, malocclusion correction, and a $9,000 orthotic. Advised to sue, I believe litigation worsens care access, and I’m now outside the statute of limitations for past documented claims with the senators office. In 2017, a senator’s office helped secure benefits, upgrading my discharge to honorable, though a lawyer said I should have been medically retired in 2006 but I was improperly diagnosed and still to this day they deny that I have an allergy and experienced mercury toxicity from this mass amount of mercury they placed in my mouth..  They have not, to this day paid for any treatment to correct this malocclusion or removal of the mercury fillings I was allergic to and being poisoned by.  They are happy to treat the symptoms these issues are causing me but refuse to actually address the root cause to make me healthy again.  They have been invalidating me for decades now, although civilian professionals have been the ones validating my health issues and trying to help me heal.  The type of healing I am getting after these exposures is unprecedented.  I don"t know anyone else who has the drive, faith and motivation that I have had to get the results I am getting and I want to show people it is possible to heal from poison and toxic exposures like this through cellular detoxification and regeneration.

<div>A world-renowned dentist in Georgia offers hope for my biggest issues right now which is dental.  He is suggesting an orthotic adjustment and ceramic restorations to stabilize my jaw, alleviate symptoms, and restore my ability to work, sing, write my book, and launch my organic skincare business.  This is the proper treatment that many dentists have already recommended including an in-network VA dentist in MN (see attached pictures).  That referral was denied though by the VA and after 3x of asking for their help, I finally have to take things into my own hands and come up with the funds myself before this gets any worse.  I fear I will become one of the veterans who dies before receiving proper treatment.  The $75,000 cost for treatment and travel is unaffordable for me at this point which is why I am reaching out to ask for help with this.

<div>People come from all over the country to see Dr. Ryan Reeves, as he has equipment that no one else has as well as 30+ years of experience,  treating patients with the same issues I have.  He is the best and one of the only dentists who can help me fix this, rather than just try to help or bandaid the problem.  The last neurologically trained dentist I saw, this spring ($6000 treatment) claimed there was only a handful of dentists in the US who could help me with the misalignment issue and there are already very few restorative specialists who are neurologically trained. No one in this country,  has the $500k+ of high tech equipment that this dentist has in Georgia, to offer precise care and treatment.

<div>The urgency I am experiencing is in that I have spent all I have and they are worried about treating me, since I cannot afford the full treatment and without additional funds, I may not get the results I need to achieve.  This orthotic will prove whether or not this treatment will work, before spending the 70k for permanent restorations.  I just came back from Georgia yesterday after spending 6 hours at the office with his wonderful staff, doing testing, diagnostics and bite molds to send to the lab to get this orthotic made to the proper position, which should fill in missing teeth and alleviate the muscular skeletal issues that are debilitating me at this point.  Once this orthotic is made in the lab, I need to be back out there next week to have it adjusted and most likely stay out there for a few days to have it adjusted multiple times until it fits properly.  This requires wearing it and time.  That will be about another $5000- 10,000 depending on how the adjustments go.

<div>Then, I will wear that for a few months before the more expensive portion will be done- permanent ceramic restorations.  This is the ideal treatment and I have already been to about a dozen dentists who have tried to help make me comfortable (not fix the problem) over the last 10 years (that I could afford) with no real relief.  They want to make sure the orthotic helps and if it does, the second phase makes it permanent.

I spent the last year fearlessly fighting for Robert Kennedy Jr. campaign to get into the White House and save America's health.
