It has recently come to my attention that a dear family friend of mine (ours) has become homeless. She has looked into every option and has been put on a waiting list for housing. Currently, she is #16 on that list. That could take weeks or months; it all depends.

She is on disability, but it is not enough to house her and her newly adopted cat. We are trying to raise some funds to get her into a pet-friendly motel or hotel until she is able to get housing assistance. Anything helps and is appreciated with your support for Marie aka Mimi! She is currently living in a tent outside, and all of her belongings are in storage. She’s 63 years old and deserves a safe place for her and her cat.
