Help Marie, Jake, Cole Lambrecht

Many of you know Marie, whether it be from the glory days of highschool, current community connections, or somewhere in between. A lot of you know that she would put herself out there to help others when she was able. Some of you may remember her volunteering with different charities or ochestrating a benefit. Now she is the one in need of support.
In the past several years, Marie has seen many ups and downs. One of the most impactful has been health issues, her own and that of her boys. This has been no easy feat, as it seems none of them could catch a break in the health department... and it turns out, there is a reason.
Marie, and both of her boys have recently been genetically tested and diagnosed with having Marfan Syndrome. Marfan's is a genetic disorder that affects connective tissue, which is the material between cells of the body that gives the tissues form and strength. Connective tissue is found all over the body and multiple organ systems may be affected in individuals with Marfan's. Her youngest also may have a secondary connective tissue disorder that has yet to be officially diagnosed but has been indicted by the genetic testing... which makes his future medical care that much more intensive.
All three of them will require the following specialists, going forward, to monitor them on an annual or biannual basis - for the rest of their lives:
-Cardiologist
-Geneticists
-Opthamologist
-Gastroenterologists
-Orthopedist/Physical Therapist
Due to the demands of caring for her two boys as well as her own medical affairs, it has been difficult for Marie to maintain employment. The constant need to take time off for these critical appointments for her boys and herself have unfortunately been instrumental in making it almost impossible to maintain employment.
Recently, Marie was removed from working at all for the next 6 weeks and given a medical checklist by her doctor. On one hand, this is a great thing. On the other, she is currently unemployed and receiving minimal assistance from local resources. She has next to no money to pay bills that are essential, no money for gas to go to appointments with specialists ranging from Children's to the Mayo... let alone money for hotels (if they have to stay overnight at the Mayo). In a few weeks, she will be moving in with some amazingly kind people for a few months, as she is losing her current residence because she can't afford the rent.
Marie fights these battles day in and day out, wishing nothing more than to find some normalcy for her and her boys and to get their heath affairs in order. She is not giving up on working, but in the meantime - she needs help, especially financial help! Whether you can spare $5 or $50... anything will help. Please consider helping this amazing mom get her and her boys' lives back on track.
