<div>Maria is a local homeless rights activist and organizer, whose bravery and dedication has inspired countless people in the struggle for housing justice. It is our time to help give back to Maria, her and her family are currently homeless and her daughter is in critical condition following several spinal surgeries.

<div>Maria and her family came to San Francisco to access lifesaving medical care for their daughter. Since late June, her child has undergone several complex surgeries and remains in intensive care, awaiting another major procedure later this month

<div>Maria, her husband, and their children are currently living in a city shelter. She's deeply worried that after her daughter's procedure, the shelter won't provide the safe and stable environment needed for recovery.

<div>We’re asking for your help to raise funds for medical costs, living costs, and childcare for Maria’s other children while she stays by her daughter’s side and her husband works.
