<div>Our amazing friend, <strong>Marianne</strong>, is facing one of the toughest battles of her life: cancer. She was recently diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive type of cancer called Mucosal Melanoma (not skin cancer).

<div>This comes as a complete shock to all of us. She was healthy one day and the next day fighting for her life.

<div>Everyone who knows Marianne will tell you she’s the kind of person who gives everything she has to everyone around her.

<div>She’s an amazing, dedicated mom to Paige, a loving girlfriend to Pat, and someone so many of us call our “best friend.”

<div>Marianne’s kindness and willingness to help others is what truly sets her apart from anyone I know.

<div>She has always been there for her friends and family, offering support and encouragement without ever asking for anything in return.

<div>As Marianne faces this difficult journey, <strong>we can now show up for her and help ease some of the financial burden she will face.</strong>

<div>She will be missing quite a bit of work with treatments, surgery, and the unknown. Like many of us, she doesn’t have short or long-term disability, and in California, FMLA doesn’t provide any type of monetary support.

<div>She will still be responsible for her house payment, all the normal life bills, and anything else in this difficult time that comes her way.
