Help Marge and Her Family Recover from Hurricane

Dear Friends,

My name is Nelson Shin, and we are setting up this fundraiser to help Marge Gonzalez. I had the distinct privilege of working with Marge Gonzalez for many years during her 33-year tenure at Friends.

On Wednesday, September 28th, Marge lost her home and all her possessions when Hurricane Ian tore through the Fort Myers area. Marge, Tammy, Paul, and their dog, Blueberry, are currently living in a motel while their house is being rebuilt. Marge is looking for a place to rent in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area for at least two months, so any leads would be much appreciated. I know Marge would never start a GoFundMe for herself and her family despite the type of calamity she had to endure--she feels strange accepting money. However, with the encouragement of many of her friends, family, and former colleagues and students, she has granted us permission to start this GoFundMe on her behalf.

I hope you can join us in helping Marge and her family get back on their feet. Marge plans to use the donations for basic living needs and to help replace some of the possessions she and her family have lost from the hurricane.
