Help Margarita Change her Story

Everyone has a story, some of us probably not even close to the real burden some individuals endure throughout their lives and never complain. This is Margarita’s story…

My name is Maria and I am creating this gofundme page to help my mom on her mission. My mom is a part time Courier driver and recently Licensed as a Real estate agent in the State of Virginia she is striving to collect funds to help Margarita.

My mother, delivering on one of her usual places of her daily route met Margarita, a very kind soft spoken elderly woman who works performing janitorial cleaning services in a commercial office building in the downtown area in Richmond, VA. Pushing her heavy cart full of cleaning supplies and trash from floor to floor while performing her daily routine. Soon after meeting her, my mother found out the reason she was always wearing heavy coats even in the summer time was because she was diagnosed with kidney deficiency due to her diabetic conditions. Receiving Dialysis treatments three times a week makes her feel cold and tired all the time and recently she has also been diagnosed with heart failure due to the effects of her dialysis treatment. Margarita rides the public bus every day, to and from work including the days she has to have her Dialysis therapies. A common side effect of kidney therapy is fatigue where an individual feel tired and exhausted all the time, some people would probably would go back home to rest after dialysis therapy, however, that’s not an option for Margarita, she has to push thru the fatigue and head to work after her therapies in order to meet hers and her 15 years old daughter’s needs. Her life companion was also victim of covid and lost his life 2 years ago and ever since Margarita endures the burden all by herself barely making enough to cover the basic needs like, rent, food and transportation and when fatigue is unbearable and she is unable to make it to work, the burden and worry multiplies.

My mother is trying to collect enough funds to find an affordable place to live for Margarita’s and her daughter and that way alleviate her biggest expense, her housing cost. My mother plans to utilize her Real Estate connections and Investors to make this happen.

We are humbly reaching out for your support to help reach this goal and help Margarita. We are hopeful that we can reach the goal, but in the event that its no close enough to work out a real estate deal, the funds collected will be given to her to use at her disposal to cover her expenses when fatigue becomes a reason to miss a day of work, which she cannot afford to do.
