Kicking Cancer with the Doanes

Dear Friends and Family,Our Precious Margaret Koscielniak Doane has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer called Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) .  She has been receiving chemotherapy every other week.  After receiving the proper number of treatments to shrink the large 10cm mass, Margaret will have surgery, and then radiation.  Regardless of the length of time this process takes, Margaret is moving forward a Warrior with a positive attitude of winning this battle!I have been blessed to know Margaret and Shawn since high school as members of the Brighton High School Class of 1995 in Brighton, Michigan.  Shawn and Margaret began dating during our junior year, thus becoming high school sweethearts, and they never looked back!  They are still as adorable now as they were back then.  Margaret is not only fighting this battle for herself and her husband Shawn, but also for their six darling young children.  God blessed them with five boys and one girl ranging in ages from 12 years to 1 years old.  Margaret, Shawn, and their 6 kids desperately need us to come together as their support team.  Your financial donations would mean so much to them as it will be used for transportation to and from treatments and doctors appointments, medical bills, household expenses, keeping food on the table, and providing a sense of normality for the children.  Any amount you can provide would be greatly appreciated as every penny will make a positive impact on the lives of the Doane Family.  If you are unable to provide a financial donation, please consider sending Margaret a letter of encouragement (address posted below).  The greatest amount of support you can offer the Doane Family is your love through prayer.  We ask that you please add Margaret and her family to your daily prayers, including your families and prayer groups in this opportunity to pour out God's love, healing, and grace!You can send cards and care packages to Margaret at:Margaret Doane18927 Bradley RoadGregory, Michigan 48137I cannot begin to thank you enough for joining this family of Warriors!  By joining them in this battle you not only have become a part of Margaret's fight, but you have become a member in the Army against Breast Cancer!  Remember to do your monthly self breast exams.  Breast Cancer is not only a Women's Thing!  Get your pink ribbons and wear them in support of Margaret and all the women and men fighting for a cure!God bless and much love,Sydni Anne Hull Gauwitz on behalf of the Margaret Koscielniak Doane Family
