Help Marcos's Family

Hello Everyone The Outkast Academy Faculty here. We are all coming together to raise funds for one of our beloved students Marcos and his family. Marcos attends our youth program Monday through Friday, he is 15 years old and is currently a sophomore in high school. He works hard in school and despite the devastating circumstances he and his family are going through he always keeps a positive mind set and a smile on his face.

Along with Marcos is his older brother Jose who is 20 years old and his youngest brother Johnny who is 11 years old. Their mother Teresa is the single mother of these amazing 3 boys. Their father has been out of their lives for 14 years. 

About of a month ago Teresa and her children got evicted from their home. His mother was working as a restaurant cashier and Jose was going to college full-time as well as working to help pay rent. As rent and costs for living in Los Angeles rose they could not make ends meet to continue to for pay rent along with all costs needed to continue to support the entire family. They are currently living in their car. Due to the circumstances. Teresa lost her job due to the stress that comes with trying to provide for her family with no help. The restaurant she worked offered to take her back when she is ready however they have no income to get them settled in a new place. 

We are currently raising $5,000.00 to help get Marcos's family back on their feet. This will help them with first months rent, security deposit, and food.

Although our staff is working as a team to help find Teresa and Jose better paying  jobs this will give them a head start and relieve some stress. 

We really want Marcos and his little brother Johnny to continue their education. They have been missing some school days from time to time due to not being able to keep up with their hygiene and trying to help their mother out. 

We love Marcos and his family wholeheartedly. We personally have seen Marcos grow in Outkast for the past two years. He has been nothing but a joy to have in the classroom. He is a natural born leader and has so much heart to offer the world. Please help us reach our goal. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting Marcos's Family!
