Hi everyone, my name is Marcos Garcia, and I'm thrilled to announce I've been contracted to march with the Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2025 season! This has been a long-time dream, and I'm incredibly excited for this opportunity with such a talented organization in Drum Corps International (DCI), often called "Marching Music's Major League." Genesis is a corps that I believe will truly allow me to showcase the skills I've worked so hard to develop and will provide invaluable growth and learning opportunities.

My passion for marching band began in my 6th-grade year when I first found out about DCI. I've been incredibly interested in it ever since, and from the moment I started high school, it became a goal to march for a few years to build my skills until I could finally try out for a DCI corps. Marching with Genesis is the pinnacle of my aspirations, and I'm eager to learn and perform at the highest level.

Participating in DCI comes with significant costs, including tuition, travel, and living expenses throughout the summer. While I'm contributing personally, I'm reaching out for your support to help make this dream a reality.

Your generous contribution will directly help cover the essential costs of my summer with Genesis, allowing me to focus on rehearsals and performances. My fundraising goal is $5,500.
