Help Maple Get Gender Confirmation Surgery

Hello, my name is Maple Sullivan and I am a transgender woman. If you don't know what this means basically, I was assigned male at birth and have now figured out that I am actually a woman. This has been a long journey of self exploration and trying to figure my identity out. I have been out and on HRT for two and a half years now.

The next big step in my transition is gender confirmation surgery. My goal for fundraising is to set up my surgery date (which I am in the process of setting) for the winter of 2023. (This is my ideal time frame I will update with any changes.) I'm currently in the process of trying to find a surgeon in my insurance network, a process that is delayed because of the fact my insurance will be changing soon and I am unsure of what it will be.

So I have set a goal for $3,000 which will allow me to cover my bills during the recovery period of my transition while on medical leave. As well as the extended stay in the hospital that is required for the first week. In addition it will cover any medication, bandages and other miscellaneous cost that I can foresee coming up.

This will be a huge step in increasing my quality of life as gender dysphoria has been a major issue for me as of late, and it will allow me to live a more full life. Please consider helping out a lesbian trans-woman with taking such a major step in her life.
