Hey guys. My name is Amanda, but most who sees this post will recognize me as nyquil from the redneck brawl. Im sure there's about to be some cruel comments over this, but I got tough skin.

Ive always been the one who lends the helping hand. Ive often gave people places to stay and helped them get sober, ive always been there for everyone in any way i can cause my granny raised me to help any and everyone if u can and what if the one time u tell someone no that was your test from the lord to get into heaven and you failed. Over my last almost 10 years of sobriety ive helped many people who have been released from incarceration gain employment. Ive tried hard to make a difference in this world no matter what it is, and have often found it hard to ask for any help in return. But I need help.

10 years ago when I started my sobriety journey to gain custody of my daughter. I bought and paid for a home that sat on the property that belonged to my sons stepfather who we call pappy. Pappy helped me change my life and I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for him. Over the years as he was older pappys health wasn't in the best to begin with we took up the role of taking care of him, his home and his property as he asked us to do so. The past few years pappy was almost non-transferable and in a wheelchair. I never had this home put into my name because everytime I mentioned it they either couldn't find the title. OR pappy would always tell me everyone knows that place is mine and that it be cheaper to just leave it the way it is. So I guess its partly my fault that I am here. Pappy passed away in February, and there was no will in place. So everything is has to be sold and split amongst his kids and his now wife which is dukes mom. This includes the home I bought and paid for. Duke doesn't get a part as he's a step child. Whole family fell apart when he passed. None of us talk anymore. It kills me to look at my son knowing I can't house him even tho ive bought and paid for this place. Weve lost so much. We lost pappy, half of what family we had, and continuing to lose all the way down to my home. What I wouldn't give to have the money to just buy it when it comes up for sale cause none of them really even want it cause I'll be honest when I say pappy would want us there more than he would anyone. But i cant even get us moved let alone have the money to buy it outright when it goes up for sale. He absolutely adored malaki and thats the only granpa my son has ever met or known. I didnt meet his kids until after he passed. They're all amazing people and they have told me we can stay until we get the money together to move, but im the only one working. And my measly paycheck doesn't go far as I do not get any assistance and have to pay cash for everything. Dukes been out of work for weeks and we've tried to make fb pages to get him work but nothing is really happening. I know everyone is having it rough rn. Cause I can't even buy a loaf of bread myself most of the time. Ive even tried to go as far as selling my shirts everyone keeps asking for but i cant take away from what little i have to provide for my son to do it. Ive thought of every way and its just not possible. I feel so defeated as a woman and a mother. Ashamed to even do this, but i need the help. If yall could even atleast share this so it reaches someone who can and is willing to help us get back up on our feet. Thank you so much for your time and just for reading this!
