Help Málaga Bike Tours survive the COVID-19 crisis
To our dear customers over the past 12 years and to future visitors who plan to discover this beautiful city by bicycle. We hope you are safe and well.
For those who don’t know me, I am Kay Farrell, the founder and owner of Malaga Bike Tours & Rentals which I started in 2008 and which now employs nine staff in two locations.

- your helpful feedback which has made us even better and inspired and motivated us to continue doing what we do best – making your Málaga Bike experience unforgettable.
We hope exploring Málaga by bike was a highlight and great memory of your visit. We thank you for the privilege of serving and touring with you, which is what we love doing more than anything!
For the last 12 years, hard work, great team-effort and the support of our amazing customers have kept us in business.
Closure due to COVID-19
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Málaga Bike Tours and almost all businesses in Spain have been closed since March 14th and Spain continues in lock-down. This has been very difficult for us financially as our resources were already stretched thin getting through the low winter season and now we are closed for the high season and we have refunded all our upcoming bookings.
We have no revenue but still have to pay rent and payroll. It looks like the lock-down will continue for some time and it will be months before tourism recovers. The Spanish government is trying to help small businesses over the short-term but the help is not sufficient, particularly over the longer-term. We need your help
I am hoping you will consider contributing to help us “ride” out these difficult times, and pay our staff and rent. Asking for help embarrasses me, but I have put aside my pride so Málaga Bike Tours can survive and continue to provide a fun, healthy and environmentally friendly activity for visitors to Málaga. Any contribution you are able to make, no matter how small, would be so gratefully received and very, very much appreciated to help pay our staff and rent.
