<div>Shay Dusky has been an integral part of our lives. A mom, a best friend, and a joy to everyone in her community. Shay was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020.  At that time, the cancer was removed and for the next 2 years there was no evidence of disease   In 2022, Shay moved to South Dakota. During a routine doctor appointment, a blood test was taken and unfortunately her cancer marker was high.  A CT scan revealed a large mass near the left ovary.  All indications were cancer which was confirmed when Shay underwent a complete hysterectomy in April 2023.    It was determined that the colon cancer had metastasized to her reproductive organs.   Faced with cancer once again and very few supportive connections in the community, Shay decided to return to Canada.  The next year will be filled with many medical appointments and trips to Calgary which will create a huge financial strain.  We would like for Shay to be able to focus on her healing.  Her ability to work full-time does not seem like a possible option this upcoming year.  We want to help make her life rich, and long-lasting. Please help us pay it forward.
