Help Makenzie fight Lymphoma

Help young Makenzie Lee Hazelton and her family fight the aggressive Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Makenzie is from the small country village of Koorawatha, between Cowra and Young. Makenzie and her family have had to temporarily relocate to Westmead Children’s Hospital near Parramatta for treatment. It is estimated at this early stage that they will be at the Children’s Hospital for at least 6 months with regular follow-ups in Sydney for several years.
Lymphoblastic Lymphoma is an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is relatively rare, accounting for approximately 2% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Makenzie started intensive chemotherapy on the 12th August 2019 and has a long road ahead of her.
2019 was meant to be a very special year for the Hazelton’s with Makenzie starting Kindergarten and eldest brother Jeremy starting year 7 at Cowra High. Ben, the big protector of Makenzie in primary school is in year 2. Makenzie, Jeremy and Ben are likely going to attend school at the Hospital School at Westmead.
Makenzie loves singing and dancing (see video below) and is a lover of all animals. In her spare time, Makenzie loves camping with her family and riding her bike. Makenzie, like her two brothers, are huge Sydney Roosters supporters. Makenzie is an intelligent, friendly and funny young lady with an incredible personality. She is greatly adored by her great grandparents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends especially the kids at Mulyan Public School.
As Makenzie needs to be located near the hospital for treatment, the family will need to find a place to rent in Sydney for 6 months while she receives the necessary care, plus ongoing medical and living expenses. All donations, no matter the size, will be warmly appreciated and never forgotten.
