Help Makeba Keep Her Kiddos Safe

This is a fundraiser for Makeba Barber. She's a tireless fighter for Democracy and has hit a rough time in her life. She's been in a local shelter in the Seattle area with her three kids, but can't stay there any longer. Her car has broken down so she is fearful her ex will take her children from her.

She is seeking escape from a domestic violence situation. Here's an example of what has happened in the past with her family:
