Help Us Make Our Home Safe for My Wife During Her Cancer Battle
My wife is currently fighting stage 4 kidney cancer. It spread from her kidney to her upper neck, an artery, both hips, her lower neck, and her back. She has gone through radiation treatments and is now on chemo. Thankfully, the radiation has already targeted many of the areas where the cancer spread, and we are praying that her upcoming scans will show that those cancer cells have been destroyed.
Through all of this, she has shown nothing but courage and strength. She is the most courageous woman I know and my sweetness. I hate seeing her go through this.
Right now, getting her in and out of our home for appointments and treatments is extremely difficult. She uses a wheelchair, and the steps and drops at our doors make it unsafe and painful for her each time we leave the house. With winter coming and the cold weather approaching, this becomes even more dangerous.
I am trying to raise funds to buy two wheelchair ramps:
• One for getting out of our house
• One for getting from the porch down to the sidewalk
These ramps would make it safe and much easier for her to get to her treatments, prevent falls, and reduce the strain on her body. It would make a huge difference in her daily life.
Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. And please, if you can, talk to Jesus and pray for her. We believe in the power of prayer, and your prayers are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. We are truly grateful.
