Hi my name is Heather and I am fundraising for my amazing son Nova. In 2020 at 2 years old he was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer, he underwent a 10 hour brain surgery to de bulk the tumour. After surgery he had to learn all basic needs again from eating to waking and not long after he started an intense inpatient chemotherapy regime. We spent lots of hard nights together in isolation with only each other as company. After a gruelling 18months of chemotherapy with many brutal and devastating side effects , he was offered radiotherapy. Nova underwent 6 weeks of radiotherapy, where every single day he was put under general anaesthetic to receive his treatment. All through out Nova has been a true superhero but unfortunately the treatments have run out and we are left with no other options than to accept Nova now has terminal cancer with only months to live. He is the most loveable and caring 4year old boy that you could ever meet and he has been through so much in his short life that I want to make his last months the most amazing and enjoyable time I can for him.
