Help Make Mal’s Day

Donation protected
Hey guys! You may or may not know this - but our friend Mal has been dealt a rough hand in the past couple months. You probably don’t know this because Mal never complains about anything. She always finds something to be grateful for. She is constantly putting other people and their needs above her own because that’s just the kind of person she is.

Her grandmother passed away (you might know her as #redpepperflakes) in the last month or so, and not only was Mal VERY close with her, but she was her primary caretaker for the last 4-5 years. She would fill in the pockets of her day watching little loves including her niece and nephew. Both went back to school this month and combined with her grandmothers passing - you can imagine that life feels a little empty right now (not to mention she needs to find a new source of income as well - but Mal never really cared about money. It was all about the opportunity to spend more time with people she loved).

Her car was broken into last week as well and her purse and glasses were taken. Her car was also hit by a driver that just drove off afterwards - leaving her to figure out who did it and left with the bill for the car, plus being unable to drive for Uber while its being fixed.

Y’all. Through all of this, she has kept her chin up. She has been confident that something else will be just around the corner. She is working her hiney off to find new work. And the hits just seem to keep coming. It’s so easy to feel so lonely in this world and i just want her to know how many people truly love her.

I set up this Go Fund Me account for her in the event that you’re open to sending $10 or $20 her way to help her out while she is in between jobs (she would absolutely die if she knew i was doing this for her). But more so than the money, i would love it if you would share just one story. One of your favorite memories with Mal! A time that she made you smile. It doesn’t have to be long. It could be as simple as “you always put a smile on my face”.

Thanks for your time reading this little note! I think we can cheer up this special lady’s day this week!
