Make Lake Country Classical Academy a Reality

Lake Country Classical Academy (LCCA) will be the first public (tuition-free), K-12 classical charter school in the state of Wisconsin. Opening in the fall of 2021, LCCA will initially serve K-9 students, expand by one grade per year, and will be a fully K-12 classical public charter school by 2024.
LCCA is working towards recognition as an affiliate school of the Barney Charter School Initiative (BCSI), an outreach of Hillsdale College. The BCSI team has assisted LCCA in the preparation of its academic program and charter application and hopes to assist LCCA in creating and implementing challenging, engaging academic programs, as well as providing teacher training that will serve as the foundation for a liberal and civic education. This classical curriculum emphasizes the core disciplines of math, science, history, and language arts including phonics and writing, with significant attention to music, art, and foreign languages. We invite you to watch the video, produced by BCSI, for a better understanding of LCCA's mission and vision.
LCCA will not receive any state tuition support until shortly before it opens its doors. Even then, the costs are front-loaded: facilities, furniture, books, teacher training, marketing, legal expenses, and the list goes on. Any financial contribution ($25, $50, $100 or more) is greatly appreciated and will help us move LCCA forward and make it a reality. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations to LCCA are tax deductible. Thank you for your support and for helping us bring LCCA to life!
