My names Cheyenne. I took in my little cousin and ive been raising him for 3 years . He is currently 4 years old. I cant put all details on here due to legal reasons but what i can say is i got him from a very bad environment . Drugs/Addiction involved . Even though he briefly lived with my uncle (his grand father) he was way too much for him to handle. Constant tantrums, constant screaming i mean hours at a time self harm at just a year old . Multiple daycares due to behaviors , so many doctors appointments and just so much time invested in to getting him the help he needs. Hes now on medication and is finally doing well . I took him in with the intention of always adopting him . He went through way too much and seen so much he has PTSD from it . Doctors are saying he will have to be medicated the rest of his life . He has made so many improvements . Since his biological mom willingly gave him up i get zero help and thats okay . I didn't get him for a check . I got him because he needed us as much as we needed him . I had never met him until the day he came home with us . We wanted a little boy and he wanted and needed a family to love him. The whole point of asking for help making this gofundme is to help pay for court fees to officially adopt him . Since I'm more then the third branch from him (he's my second cousin) i have to pay out of pocket for the court papers to be filed for the adoption . Obviously the amount I am asking for wont pay everything but it will get the process started and going in the right direction in hopes everything will be final before he starts school and things get to confusing .
