I am Mahmoud, and I write to you with a heart weighed down by sorrow from Gaza. Just a week ago, my world crumbled as I lost 45 cherished family members in the bombing of our six-story family building, leaving behind only my immediate family members - my parents and siblings

My father, the sole breadwinner, suffers from chronic health conditions, his health deteriorating with each passing day. My siblings, who were pursuing their dreams of becoming doctors, nurses, and teachers, have had their aspirations crushed by the devastation of war.

Our once thriving home is now reduced to rubble.

We are left with nothing but the memories of those we have lost.

Separated by distance, I have spent the last five years in Bangladesh pursuing my studies in dentistry, longing for the day I could return home to my family. But now, that dream is shattered, and my loved ones are left destitute, their hopes and aspirations crushed by the horrors of war.

I am a passionate future dentist in my last year, a hard working lover in my field. I use my hand skills and knowledge to treat the cases where i study (Bangladesh) and was eagrly waiting for the day i go back to apply what i learnt to help my own country people.

Every day is a struggle for survival as my family navigates the harsh realities of displacement. Now, they stand at a crossroads, with their only hope for safety lying in reaching the Rafah border.

My family members require £34,440 to make this journey to safety. Yet, the cost of evacuation is beyond our reach, and time is running out.

My family members consist of :

Costs breakdown:

For evacuating Nader, Nada, Kareem And my parents: $27,500 ($5,500 per adult as of the time now).

For evacuating Taher and Nisma: $5,400 ($2,700 per child as of the time now).

Six months living expenses in Egypt: $7,000

GoFundMe Fees: $2,000

Bank Transfer Fees: $1,000

The collected money will be delivered to another friend of the family in Egypt in where it will be used in the above mentined costs breakdown.
