<div>Now, his life has been completely upended. The aggression some call “war” has taken everything from him: his friends, relatives, home, car, and livelihood. Mahmoud told me that even his car, his shop, and his house were bombed, leaving him and his family with nothing but heartbreak and fear.

<div>He shared a harrowing story—his uncles were martyred right before his eyes. Can you imagine the sheer trauma and despair? No one should have to live in such danger.
