Muhammad and his family need to survive/escape the war in Gaza. Their lives are at risk every day. They want to cross the border into Egypt while they await for Australian visas.

The Egyptian border crossing costs approx $5000 US for each person and there are 8 people to get across. I have sighted passports and identity documents.

I know they deserve our utmost efforts to assist.

They are deeply traumatised by their displacement, the constant attacks and the death all around them.

There is no safe place in Gaza. No amount is too small.

The currency we collect is the Australian dollar.

This will then be transferred to Muhammad and exchanged into the US currency.

We also pay a transaction fee of (2.9% + $0.30 )

The amount will go to pay the coordination fees for the Rafah crossing and some of the expenses that follow the procedure.

I, Muhammad Al-Khatib, extend to you first of all my peace and greetings, hoping to God that you are well and in good health.I am very happy to meet you in this donation campaign for me and my family.I do not know where to begin with you or where to end, but briefly, I will say that we live in Gaza under siege, under bombing, under injustice, under hunger.But at the same time, we have a glimmer of hope that we will have a better life, that we will get out of this damned prison, and reach safety.In order to leave Gaza towards Egypt, we must cross the Rafah border crossing, and this requires us to pay exorbitant fees that we never have before. Therefore, we all hope that you will help us provide these requirements and these fees for this crossing so that we can cross it and save our souls from certain death. We are required to pay each person 5,000 US dollars in order to pass to Egypt.

Our souls are more precious than money and more precious than the treasures of the entire earth, especially since our children's dreams have been buried and our youth have ended this life.

My son Muhannad lost his

university studies and is in his last year of this university. Mahmoud also lost his job in the barber shop.

My daughter also did not finish her university. As for the children, they are crying and screaming from the severity of the bombing and death around them. I also have a young child who never speaks and he has not spoken yet. In words, he is also afraid and terrified, and I will attach pictures of all of that to you.
