Hi everyone! My name is Maggie Lu, and I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been selected to represent Team USA U24 this summer at the 17th IDBF World Dragon Boat Championships in Brandenburg, Germany!

I started paddling during my freshman year of high school back in 2018 for Ohana Paddling Association/DCH Racing, and dragon boating has been at the center of my life ever since. It has been an incredibly long journey, and the sport has pushed me to do things I never imagined I would be capable of. Getting to compete at this level is a dream come true, and I’m more motivated than ever to give it everything I’ve got.

While I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, it also comes with significant costs. As a college student, I am trying my best to work towards this goal, but I am hoping to raise $1,500 to help cover travel, hotel, and registration costs.
