<div>Thank you so much for all the financial and emotional support along my cancer journey, that we have started back in late summer.  I have completed a course of radiotherapy and last week I have started chemotherapy. The idea is to shrink the tumour before it gets removed from my rectum. I so much wish I didn't have to ask you for help one more time but it became apparent I'm not able to manage the chemo-related sideffects in our humble offgrid cabin: the environment is not sterile enough for someone like me. Also, it's not adequately heated at night and I do spend all my nights in the armchair, sometimes being very cold - and this is extremely risky as it can cause irreversible damage to my nerve endings. I am at the loss of what to do and finally today I have reached a decision of finding alternative accommodation for the period of my treatment that will make me feel safer. This will be until around March - April of 2024. My relationship with Ray is also extremely strained - he of course is doing everything in his power to make sure I am comfortable but it's simply not possible in our current financial situation. Oh well - we came here to follow our dreams but this unexpected turn of events is beyond what I can manage. I will come back in spring and continue, though.
