Hi, my name is Madison. I’m 25 years old and living with severe endometriosis and adenomyosis.
Last December, I had my first laparoscopy where endometriosis was found on my bladder. Sadly, it wasn’t removed because my gynecologist wasn’t trained in complex cases. Since then, my condition has gotten drastically worse.
I now live in constant, unbearable pain. Every single day I struggle just to move. I can’t work, I can’t wash or brush my own hair, and I haven’t been able to leave my bed for weeks. The pain when I pee is so severe that I cry every time.
My doctors have told me I need specialized excision surgery, but the wait times here are months long — and I simply can’t keep living like this.
Before this illness took over my life, I worked as a social worker in a group home for autistic clients. I loved my job and being able to help people every day. Now, I need help myself just to survive.
I’m raising funds to cover:
• Travel and consultations with specialized surgeons who can remove endometriosis safely
• Medical costs not covered by OHIP
• Basic living expenses while I’m unable to work
Even the smallest donation makes a difference. ✨ If you can’t donate, please share this page — every share brings me one step closer to the surgery and relief I desperately need.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, donating, and sharing.
